Trabelint NV
Trabelint was founded in 1969 and was originally located at the harbour in Brussels. Initially its activities were limited to taking care of full truck loads and customs formalities. In the following years years, this developed into a complete network of cargo consolidation services throughout Europe. In 1986, Trabelint decided to settle permanently in Zaventem (Brucargo). There it was able to acquire a larger warehousing capacity. With the increasing demand for storage and Value Added Services, a special storage facility, exclusively for hazardous goods, was taken into operation in 2001.
At the beginning of 2008, Trabelint became part of logistics provider Royal Rotra. Since the beginning of the 20th century, this Dutch family-owned company has been active as a reliable logistics partner and, with 550 employees, is now more than ever an innovative one-stop logistics shop. From Doesburg, Rotra coordinates transport by road throughout Europe and with its Air & Ocean branches in the Netherlands and Belgium, it organizes worldwide air and sea freight for a rapidly expanding number of customers. Apart form warehousing, Rotra also provides value added services in the fields of handling hazardous goods, (sterile) medical materials and high quality goods and has its own customs department.
